Changing Your Flight

You can modify your flight booking online or through the Delta app:

  1. Go to delta.com manage booking
  2. Enter your confirmation number and last name
  3. Select the flight you want to change
  4. Choose your new flight date and time
  5. Pay any fare difference or receive a credit if applicable

Change Fees

  • Main Cabin & Basic Economy: Fees may apply based on fare rules
  • Delta Comfort+: Fee may apply
  • First Class / Business Class: Usually no change fee
  • Elite Members: Change fees waived based on status level

Cancelling Your Flight

To cancel and receive a refund or travel credit:

  1. Go to delta.com manage booking
  2. Enter your confirmation number and last name
  3. Select "Cancel Flight"
  4. Choose refund or eCredit destination
  5. Confirm cancellation

Refund Options

  • Refund to original payment: 7-10 business days
  • Delta eCredit: Use for future booking (may have bonus value)
  • Travel voucher: Paper voucher for in-person use

24-Hour Free Cancellation

Delta offers a 24-hour risk-free cancellation window for most bookings. Book at least 24 hours before departure for this option.

Same-Day Changes

Eligible passengers can change flights on the same day of travel:

  • Fee: $75-$150 (varies by route)
  • Availability: Subject to seat availability
  • Eligible tickets: Most fare types
